Coaching and Training

Personalized Coaching for Executives

Customized Training for Work Teams

Individual coaching and group training are powerful ways to stimulate professional growth and promote exceptional performance. Learning programs for individuals and teams can

  • Ensure that team members have the skills they need to do their jobs
  • Invest in the professional growth and long-term value of team members
  • Promote habits of continuous learning and achievement on the job
  • Provide a secure place for team members to solve problems together
  • Signal that the organization is committed to its employees’ growth
  • Teach best practices for leading, communicating, and collaborating

Good leadership requires more than structuring the work and rewarding people for their efforts. Effective leaders also pay attention to their staff’s professional growth, provide the tools they need for their work, and meet their needs for respect, inclusion, and significance.

Executive Coaching

Some of the most meaningful lessons in work and life come to us through the personal relationships we have with teachers, mentors, coaches, doctors, and religious leaders. More than just sharing their knowledge and experience, a good mentor or coach cares about your progress – with your work and your life. And good coaching is not just providing information or instructions: it’s also promoting mindset and personal habits necessary for you to achieve what is most important to you and the people you care about.

Our coaching clients are CEOs, executives, and entrepreneurs who decide to invest in their own professional growth, tackle a productivity or leadership challenge, or take their talents in a new direction. We use a variety of tests and inventories to promote self-knowledge and stimulate new ways to look at your professional direction. These tests and inventories can help an executive explore career options that are more fulfilling, more aligned with their strengths and personal goals.

Clients for coaching can also be referred by their organizations for professional development or to address a problem with their productivity or workplace conduct. Coaching conversations and relationships are typically confidential so that executives can speak freely about their views and experiences as they work to improve themselves professionally. When referred by an organization to solve a problem, we sometimes report back to that organization about the client’s progress, provided that all parties are informed and agree to such reporting.

Training Experiences

Training for groups of executives or other team members is customized to teach specific skills, promote team collaboration, or energize professional growth. We have communication modules that allow teams to work together smoothly and use meetings more effectively. For customer service teams, we offer high-impact scripts, problem-solving protocols, and proven strategies for de-escalating conflicts.

A popular training topic has been negotiating with and influencing others. These skills empower team members to be more proactive and more effective when selling or attempting to influence others – within the company or with it’s customers and partners. These skills are part of what’s called Emotional Intelligence – the understanding and management of ourselves and the ability to understand and communicate effectively with others at work and elsewhere.
